The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater is a beautifully-restored treasure listed on the National Register of Historic Places that offers visitors a unique and visually stunning experience. The theater is located at 315 North Chestnut Street in the heart of downtown Lumberton. First opened in 1928 as a vaudeville and silent film house, the theater offers a wide array of programming including live touring performances, original productions, art exhibits, films, special events and rentals.

The Annual My Time to Shine Talent Competition has been put on hold until safe reschedule date can be determined later this summer.  Current tickets will be valid on the new date and patrons will not need an updated ticket.

The theater also is working to reschedule other upcoming events and rentals. This is the most updated information and will remain tentative for now:

1)      “Legendary Ladies of Soul” performance originally set for March 28 has been rescheduled to 7pm Saturday August 22. This is a rental event and tickets can be purchased directly from the producer through their ticketing page by following this link.

2)      Mainstage series ChamberSoul with Shana Tucker concert is tentatively rescheduled to Friday October 9. Current tickets will be valid on the new date and patrons will not need an updated ticket.

4)    United Way Lip Synch Contest rental is being rescheduled and awaiting final date. That information will be available through the United Way of Robeson County  website.

5)   A Night to Remember with Darius Rogers rental will be rescheduled to a later date TBD.
