The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater hosted its Annual My Time to Shine Talent Competition 7pm Saturday April 11, 2026
The very popular and competitive competition featured 19 contestants competing in all categories of talent, from singing and dancing to instrumental and more. Auditions were held in February to determine qualifying contestants to showcase on the theater’s stage, and the winner of this year’s competition received a $2,000 cash prize, with second place receiving $500 and third place $250. Additionally, a People’s Choice Award was chosen based on ticket sales for each contestant and donations made during purchase checkout.
First Place: Landynn Kennedy Chadbourn, NC
Second Place: Ja’lisa Grate Loris, SC
Third Place: Calista Deal Rowland, NC
Peoples’ Choice Award: Nora Chadwick, Bladenboro, NC
This year’s host was Rebekah Revels Lowry, and this year’s contestants were from Fairmont, Lumberton, Maxton, Bladenboro, Aberdeen, Loris, Chadbourn, Pembroke, Clarkton, Red Springs, Rowland & Charlotte.
