The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater is a beautifully-restored treasure listed on the National Register of Historic Places that offers visitors a unique and visually stunning experience. The theater is located at 315 North Chestnut Street in the heart of downtown Lumberton. First opened in 1928 as a vaudeville and silent film house, the theater offers a wide array of programming including live touring performances, original productions, art exhibits, films, special events and rentals.

Carolina Civic Center is looking for volunteer ushers. Call 910-738-4339 or click boxoffice@carolinaciviccenter.com to sign up for Usher Orientation which will be held on Monday, November 24th at 6pm. Ushers are invited to watch the performance the same day they are volunteering. Ushers report 90 minutes before a performance to assist our Front of House Team in checking tickets, greeting and seating patrons on the main floor and balcony, giving out programs, answering questions and general light housekeeping.
