“A Robeson County Christmas” Show Auditions
at the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater
The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theatre is holding auditions for its fifth annual “A Robeson County Christmas” Show original production. Directed by the theater’s resident artist, Kendrix Singletary, the show is a heart-warming, holiday musical revue. The show will feature a talented local cast of singers and dancers performing popular and traditional season classics. With special appearances by Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and of course Santa Claus! Rehearsals will start mid-September show dates are Dec. 8-11.
Seeking:
3 female singer/dancers
3 male singer/dancers
Also seeking mature and talented young looking children ages seven and older who dance and take direction well.
Auditions will take place at the Carolina Civic Center downtown Lumberton on:
Friday Aug. 19 at 6pm and 7:30pm
Saturday August 20 at 10am 20
Christmas songs would be appropriate for your audition but not required. Please bring your own accompaniment tracks (a cd player will be provided) and be ready to learn a short movement routine. All adult performers will receive a stipend at the end of the last show.
