DESCRIPTION:The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater\, located at 315 North Chestnut Street in downtown Lumberton\, will be presenting a classic film series as it re-opens its doors to the public. The four films in the series represent some of the most popular movies of all time and are appropriate for audiences of all ages. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. Doors open 6pm for the 7pm screenings. Concessions will be available for purchase. \nThere will be no social distancing restrictions in place\, and attendees who have not received full COVID vaccination plus two weeks are strongly encouraged to wear face masks. \nThe Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater is a beautifully-restored treasure listed on the National Register of Historic Places that offers visitors a unique and visually stunning experience. DESCRIPTION:It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the year! \nDo you know any talented individuals that enjoy singing\, dancing\, and being in the spot light? If so\, please share this information with them. \nThe Carolina Civic hosts AUDITIONS for “The 10th annual Robeson County Christmas Show” original production. Directed by the theater’s resident artist\, Kendrix Singletary\, the show is a heart-warming\, holiday musical revue that the entire family will enjoy. The show will feature a talented local cast of singers and dancers\, with special appearances by Elsa\, The Grinch\, Frosty the Snowman\, and of course Santa Claus! \nSeeking: \n* 7 female dancers \n(for our newest addition The Civettes) \n* 8 kids \n(mature\, effervescent\, spirited\, and talented children who dance\, sing and take direction well) \nAuditions: \nKids Only- August 13 at 6pm \nCivettes Only- August 14 at 11am \nPotential Callbacks- August 15 \n* Kids should come prepared to sing a Christmas song that demonstrates their vocal ability and prepared to learn a dance combination (appropriate dance attire and shoes are recommended.
