DESCRIPTION:A short seasonal movie at the theater following the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on the downtown plaza.  \nTree lighting:  Lumberton Downtown Plaza\, Friday\, December 6\, 2019 at 6:30pm \nThis event is free and open to the public. \nEntertainment provided by SHECANIAH MUSIC \nFree hay rides\, hot cocoa and cookies during the lighting of the tree.  Christmas Short Film will be shown in the Carolina Civic Center at approximately 7:30pm.  Continue the excitement at the Robeson County Public Library for crafts and story time and Southeastern Hospice Festival of Trees from 7:00 – 9:00pm. Enjoy beautifully decorated trees\, and purchase some freshly baked cakes and cookies. This year’s event will include local vendors with an array of items to purchase. \n

SUMMARY:2019 Annual “A Robeson County Christmas” Show
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE:\nFOR THE 1PM AND 7PM SATURDAY SHOWS AND 3PM SUNDAY SHOW THE ONLY TICKETS AVAILABLE ARE THE LAST THREE ROWS OF THE BALCONY. THESE TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE AND CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED AT THE DOOR\, AS AVAILABLE. DOORS OPEN ONE HOUR PRIOR TO EACH SHOW.\nOur annual heart-warming holiday musical revue for the entire family featuring the best regional performers singing and dancing in the holidays. This year’s show features Lumberton’s own former Miss North Carolina Rebekah Revels Lowry\, X-Factor Top 40 selection Brent Tyler\, and our other very talented featured singers.  See the beautifully staged dancing of “The Civettes” as well as adorable performances by the show’s youth cast.  The theater will be beautifully decorated for Christmas and\, of course\, there will be appearances by Frosty the Snowman\, The Grinch and Santa Claus!  This year marks the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater’s eighth edition of what has become the region’s “go to” Christmas show. \nTickets can be purchased 12-5:30pm weekdays by visiting our administrative offices or calling 910-738-4339 Ext. 1. They can be purchased anytime on-line at www.carolinaciviccenter.com (there will be an added convenience fee for on-line purchases). Our offices will be closed November 27-29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. \nTickets: Individuals $25\, Seniors (65+) and Military $22. Students $10\, Rear Balcony $17*\,PrivilegesPlus members $20. Group discount rates of $20 each for groups of 10 or more when purchased in advance are available by contacting the box office. Season Tickets:  Purchase 5 or more events at the same time through our box office to receive a 20% discount off the top ticket price. Please note that BALCONY Tickets require walking up significant stairs. No Refunds or Exchanges.  *For this show only\, the seats in the back half of the balcony may have an obstructed view.
