DESCRIPTION:“A Robeson County Christmas Show” Auditions!!! \nThe Carolina Civic Center Historic Theatre is holding auditions for its 7th Annual “A Robeson County Christmas Show” original production. Directed by the theater’s resident artist\, Kendrix Singletary\, the show is a heart-warming\, holiday musical revue that the entire family will enjoy. The show will feature a talented local cast of singers and dancers performing popular and traditional season classics. With special appearances by Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer\, The Grinch\, Frosty the Snowman\, and of course Santa Claus! Rehearsals will start in September\, with show dates Dec. 6-9\, with school shows November 29 & 30.  \n Seeking: \n*3 male singers \n*10 mature\, effervescent\, spirited\, and young looking children who dance\, sing\, and take direction well.  \n*7 female dancers for our newest addition The Civettes  \n Auditions will take place at the Carolina Civic Center downtown Lumberton on: \nFriday Aug. 10 at 6pm and 7:00pm \nSaturday August 11 at 10am \n  *All singers should come prepared to sing two contrasting songs that demonstrate their vocal ability. Please bring your own accompaniment tracks (cd player/aux cable for those using a phone will be provided) and be ready to learn a short movement routine. \n*All dancers should come prepared to learn a dance combination \n*All adult performers are eligible to receive an artist stipend  \n The theater is located at 315 North Chestnut Street in downtown Lumberton.
