“Spotlight on Local Talent” Virtual Concert Series

While the theater has had to transition some of its programming to virtual concerts – and while all of our wonderful sponsors, supporters, performers and audiences can’t be with us right now – we decided the show must go on! **This performance is of course free, but if you would like to make a donation to support artist fees and production costs, please FOLLOW THIS LINK.

This series is directed by the theater’s Resident Artist and Production Manager, Kendrix Singletary, who has worked closely with each artist to create a very personal experience for all. These performances are being screened on the theater’s Facebook page at Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater at 7pm on September 5, 12, 19 and 26, and will be subsequently shared on our web site at CarolinaCivicCenter.Com

Dustin Chapman, 23, and Ryleigh Madison, 14, are an uncle-niece musical duo from Whiteville, North Carolina. Two young singers with older souls, they both incorporate traditional and contemporary country, gospel, and blues into their sound which has helped them create an instant identity among listeners. Using their talents to uplift others, these two travel all around the Carolinas, singing at some of the biggest events in the Carolinas. The upcoming country singers have both been receiving great attention lately after their first music video for Chapman’s single “Slow Dance” was added to three national television networks, including CMT. Though young, it is evident that this duo has a great path ahead.
