The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater is a beautifully-restored treasure listed on the National Register of Historic Places that offers visitors a unique and visually stunning experience. The theater is located at 315 North Chestnut Street in the heart of downtown Lumberton. First opened in 1928 as a vaudeville and silent film house, the theater offers a wide array of programming including live touring performances, original productions, art exhibits, films, special events and rentals.

The Oct. 27 Phantom of the Opera performance has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Tickets can be refunded, or swapped for our February 14 Valentine’s special show, “Love is in the Air,” featuring a silent film and the best regional singers performing selections from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom.” Refunds can be processed in-person noon-6pm weekdays through the theater’s administrative offices.

The Doo Wop Project concert scheduled for Friday Oct. 14 has been rescheduled to Friday March 3, 2017. All previously-purchased tickets will be honored for that show with same seating.
